Al aprender inglés puedes tener alguna dificultades, una de las más comunes es saber diferenciar entre las frases de tiempo en inglés In, On y At ya que las tres pueden ser usadas para señalar un objeto en un determinado espacio físico.
Aprende a usar las frases de tiempo In, On, At
Cada una de ellas tiene un propósito diferente, y existen algunas reglas gramaticales que te ayudarán a identificar sus diferencias al usarlas.
Comencemos con:
AT
AT + LA HORA PRECISA. - The concert is at 7:30 pm.
AT + MEDIO DÍA / MEDIA NOCHE – Lunch time is at midday or at noon. The concert finishes at midnight.
AT+ FIN DE SEMANA (UK) - I go out with friends at the weekend.
AT+ FECHAS ESPECIALES DEL AÑO, COMO NAVIDAD Y AÑO NUEVO – I visit my parents at Christmas or at New Year.
AT+ MOMENTO / TIEMPO – I am writing at the moment. I was living in USA at that time.
AT + NOCHE – (De 9:00pm. a 12.00pm.)- I watch TV at night.
ON
ON+DÍAS DE LA SEMANA / FECHA - My English class is on Monday. I go out with friends on Friday night. We celebrate Mother´s day on May 10th.
ON + LA PALABRA DÍA/ FECHA – I was born on Independence Day. I was born on that date.
ON + FIN DE SEMANA (USA) – We went to Medellín on the weekend.
IN
IN+ MES – ESTACIÓN – AÑO – We celebrate father´s day in June. Lots of people travel in summer. She was born in 1990.
IN + PARTES DEL DÍA- MAÑANA –TARDE -TARDE NOCHE – I have meetings in the morning. I finish work in the afternoon. I have dinner in the evening (6:00 to 9:00pm.).
